Graduate School USA believes in the power of leaders at all levels of an organization to shape and direct change. Our Center for Leadership and Management (CLM) offers courses and programs that support and advance this belief and has earned high praise from thousands who have attended our training since 1995.
Our slate of individual and contract courses and long term leadership development programs meet the needs of federal executives, managers, and leaders at every stage of their career. We use an integrated approach that includes assessment, experiential learning and individual career development with a focus on core competencies essential to effective leadership. Learners come away better prepared to meet the current demands of today’s workforce, and to lead others into the future.

The Center offers four popular long-term training programs tailored to the needs of government employees from the GS 4 to GS 15 levels or equivalent. The programs continue to address the needs of organizations and their employees to stay relevant, adapt to change, and be equipped with the necessary skills to lead and be led.
These programs require an application be submitted to Graduate School USA. Some agencies have internal procedures that require you submit your application to them to conduct their own vetting process. In other cases, an individual can apply directly as long as they are authorized by their agency and meet the qualifications. Further detail about each program is included below. Managers or leaders at the GS 13-15 level have the option of attending one or more of the following courses included in our Senior Leadership Seminars (SLS). If you attend all courses in the seminar series, you receive a SLS Certificate. These courses do not require an application and can be attended over a number of years.
The Center offers a number of courses that expand on our longer term programs, are tailored to senior leaders, or both. Some of these courses are contract only. If interested, we can bring the course to your organization or host it for a group for your agency here at the Graduate School. There is no application required for enrollment.
The Center for Leadership and Management uses a variety of assessments in their courses. These assessments are also available to organizations on a contract basis as well as anyone on an individual basis. For more information contact us at clm@graduateschool.edu.
